Fonteyne, Satyn and Castanet
Fonteyne is a 1998 Hanoverian mare. She is in the AHS main mare book and has had three
foals. Click on her name for more pictures of her and her first foal by Williams. Pictures of
the second and third one can be found on the FOALS page. Fonteyne is not only beautiful
but versatile as well. She does Dressage, Jumping, Eventing, goes on the trail and is also a
wonderful mom! Fonteyne has classic German bloodlines with no American
Thoroughbreds. As a matter of fact the first TB is 3 generations back and is the famous
Adlerschild, who was used in the 1950's in Germany to refine the Hanoverian horse.
Pedigree
Castanet is a 1992 Oldenburg mare. She is in the OldNA main mare book and also in the
Hauptstutbuch (main mare book) for Westfalen. She is a beautiful liver chestnut with huge
movement and a true babysitter personality. She consistently passes those traits, along
with a modern type, on to her foals. Castanet's bloodlines are mostly Hanoverian but also
include some well known Trakehner, Westfalen and TB lines. She's had four foals. Pictures
of her first two can be seen on her page (just click on the mare's name) and the last two can
be found on the FOALS page!
Pedigree
Satyn is a 1988 registered 1/2 Arabian. I've had her since she was 8 months old. She has
done everything with me, from A- circuit Jumpers, to Dressage, Eventing, trail-riding,
camping, etc. She also had a 2004 foal by Art Deco who is my current riding partner.
Click on her name to see more photos of her and Satyn Finish (Fini)!
